Iona Charity Team Golf Challenge 2026
The Iona Charity Team Golf Challenge on Saturday 21st March 2026, (possibly the most agricultural golf outing in the world!) is now available for booking.
Date: Saturday 21st March 2026, (with participants arriving on Iona on Friday 20th & departing Sunday 22nd).
An 18-hole team challenge for teams of 4, with the best 2 scores on each hole counting towards your team score.
It will all be played off scratch, (no handicaps – trust us, they don’t mean that much up here). Preferred lies will be in operation, everyone can get a mulligan off the first tee, and the greens will be anywhere between 1 & 17 on the stimp meter depending on how hungry the sheep are. Prize giving will be back at Iona Village Hall after dinner on Saturday night.
In lieu of 2 nights’ accommodation charges, (Friday 20th & Saturday 21st March), at the St Columba Hotel, all the meals, and the golf entry fee, we’ll be asking participants to make a donation to the Iona Village Hall fund or Breast Cancer Now. We’d suggest a minimum donation of £200 per person.

We have space for up to 10 teams to stay at the hotel, and it sold out fairly quickly last time, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
